Full Service Electric is owned and operated by Mike Andvik in Edmonds, WA. Mike grew up in Shoreline, WA and graduated from Shoreline High School in 1982.
Mike began his journey to become an electrician shortly after meeting his lovely wife, Dawn, in 1987. In 1988, he began an apprenticeship with his father-in-law's company, Faulkner and Sons Electric. The following year, Mike and his wife returned to the Seattle area and he continued his apprenticeship with Bill Stanton at Alliance Electric. During the eight years Mike worked with Alliance Electric, Mike obtained his Residential and Commercial Journeyman Electrician licenses. He had the opportunity to work on small residential jobs, new home wiring, remodeling, and even a "smart home" installation. In addition, Mike applied his trade to commercial projects for companies such as Office Max and a complete wiring of the Seattle's Best Coffee roasting facility on Vashon Island. in 1997, Dawn was offered a job in San Francisco, CA. Mike worked for Storm Electric in California from 1997 to 2004 when he and Dawn returned to the Seattle area. While employed with Storm Electric, Mike worked primarily on high-end home remodels. In addition, he addressed service calls ranging from single receptacle installation to adding 55 recessed lights in an occupied home. Other projects included home wireless switching systems, generator and transfer switch installations, and an abundance of landscape lighting designs and installations. Upon returning to Seattle in 2004, Mike resumed employment with Alliance electric where he remained until the end of 2010 when he branched out to begin his own company, Full Service Electric. |
